A Vision for Excellence in Sprayer Solutions

In 2020, Adrian and Pam took a bold step forward in their journey to deliver quality agricultural equipment by acquiring the FMR Sprayer brand. This acquisition marked the beginning of TRS Wholesale, a business that would go on to become a trusted name in sprayers and equipment. Shortly after the purchase, the sprayers were rebranded to TRS Sprayers & Equipment, aligning them with the vision and values of their new owners.

With a proven track record of running a successful tractor dealership with five branches across New Zealand, Adrian and Pam saw the potential to integrate the sprayer brand into their existing portfolio at Tractor Repairs & Spares.

Today, TRS Wholesale is proud to deliver top-tier sprayers alongside trusted equipment solutions. By refining their business and product range, Adrian and Pam have created a seamless operation that supports the needs of growers across New Zealand and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

In short, the recaptured spray drift is not diluted or concentrated when recycled. When the TRS Recycling vineyard sprayer was released in 2010, the competition attacked the concept, claiming that a recycling sprayer would “spread disease” and would either “dilute spray and render them ineffective” or “concentrate sprays and cause damage”.
The accusations stopped once it became clear that they were completely incorrect (proven with over 500 R-Series sprayers operating successfully, providing huge operational savings and improving disease control for orchards and vineyards across New Zealand, Australia, Canada and North America. The competitors levelling these claims decided that if they “couldn’t beat them they’d join them” and began offering their version of a recapture sprayer. Suffice to say that the TRS R-Series remains the only proven recapture and recycling sprayer on the market in Australasia.

TRS sprayers are available from a network of approved and trained distributors located throughout New Zealand, Australia, Canada and North America. If you are outside of these regions then please fill out the contact form and include your location. We can discuss the best way to get you your TRS sprayer.

All of our authorised distributors and dealers carry a wide range of replacement parts and this is further backed by our own substantial supply. We can assist you in finding the correct part or part number and/or direct you to the closest dealer that has the part you need in stock.

Most of our customers have their TRS sprayers serviced by trained professionals during the ‘off-season’ to get preventative maintenance done and ensure the maximum uptime of their equipment through the critical periods. Some customers prefer to carry out their own servicing programs and we are happy to support that with spare parts on request.

We offer many options to allow our customers to match a TRS sprayer to their specific needs and those of their properties. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Weber Tangential Fans deliver a low-pressure, high-volume targeted spray that can be adjusted to suit different canopy heights. Standard fans used by many other brands spray at the target at a higher pressure which results in off-target spray drift that misses or goes past the target and ultimately, poorer overall coverage. It’s also worth noting that the turbulent airflow from these fans leads to increased wear and tear of the sprayer.

The even coverage provided by the Weber Tangential Fan is second to none and almost incomparable to industry standard fans. If you’re not using a sprayer that covers every inch of your crop, you’re at a much greater risk of running into issues with disease.

All TRS Sprayers are designed and manufactured right here in New Zealand. We’re incredibly proud of our roots and the role we play in supporting the local horticulture and viticulture industries.

We like to speak and work together with every customer to ensure their sprayer is configured to provide them with the features they need and want so that their machine delivers the maximum return on investment. A customised proposal is prepared for every customer once we can work through this process.

Most horticultural and viticultural tractors can drive a TRS sprayer. This is determined by the specifications and features you require. Please feel free to contact us with the details of your existing tractor or intended purchase and we’ll be happy to assist.

The Weber Tangential Fan Technology in all of our machines provides a low-pressure, precise even cover that reduces spray drift and waste. We designed our sprayers to be easy to use and simple to set up for time-saving and operational efficiency. Our machines were built to last and handle New Zealand’s environment with ease, ensuring you get the most out of your investment in the long term.
